Wedding Date on Sep 2, 2018

If you close your eyes and think back to 2005, are there any notable dates that come to mind? Do you remember any special days or specific memories from that year? Mariah started working at Northwestern Mutual in April of 2005 as a teenager (well, two weeks before her 20th birthday) and met Brad immediately after starting. It would be months before they ever spent time together but in December of the same year, after seeing Mariah at a Jaguars game (on a date with someone else!), Brad decided to invite her over to watch a movie. So he sent a text message (actually the first text message she had ever received) and they ended a Sunday watching "Wedding Crashers." Foreshadowing, perhaps? Over the next 12 years they would spend time together and time apart. They both continued to work at Northwestern Mutual in different roles, Mariah as a Recruiter and Brad as a Financial Advisor. But, as many great love songs tell us, what is meant to be eventually will be. Their paths brought them back together in December of 2016 and Brad knew at that point he better "put a ring on it!" So after a year of dating, he popped the question on a cold night in December in New York City, almost 12 years to the day after watching "Wedding Crashers" together.
