Wedding Date on Sep 13, 2019

It was a full moon on a Friday the 13th, but that wasn't the only special thing happening on this day last year. Marcella & Shawn were married in a beautiful ceremony at Truck 59 Ciderhouse surrounded by their closest friends and family and I was lucky enough to get to capture it. The day started off getting ready at The Cove Lakeside Resort in West Kelowna, BC. Marcella and Shawn were both so relaxed on the morning of their wedding day - due in part I would assume to being together for 12 years. They opted to do a first look and chose the perfect location of the Gellatly Nut Farm for this moment. We took the opportunity to take some photos and video at this gorgeous location before a sudden downpour had us running for our vehicles and on our way to the ceremony. Truck 59 Ciderhouse is a relatively new ciderhouse on the west side of the Okanagan lake, and it did not disappoint. What a stunning wedding venue. The ceremony location at Truck 59 with views of the Okanagan lake through the orchard makes for the perfect backdrop for an Okanagan wedding. Alison Moore led a lovely ceremony for the couple, with many special moments featuring in this wedding video. Guests can enjoy tasty ciders during the cocktail hour while the bride and groom sneak away for photos in the orchard. We had a great time with Karla Rosalin Photography capturing the love these two share among the rows of apple trees. With a full moon overhead, guests settled in for dinner served by Start Fresh Kitchen, some kind words from the families, and some fun and games. Every part of this day looked beautiful thanks to the team at White Orchid Wedding & Event Planning. Airwaves Music kept the dance floor full all night and it was obvious that everyone had an amazing time celebrating the love of Marcella and Shawn!
