Kyle and Malia met by accident on a dating app while Malia was on a girls’ trip to Nashville during COVID. She had downloaded the app to find out what restaurants and bars were open, and Kyle was the first person who popped up. Their first date was terrible, but they both felt there was something there, gave it another shot, and the rest is history. Kyle proposed during a vacation in Massachusetts on a pier near their hotel before dinner with his sister and brother-in-law. Malia never technically said yes, but between the tears, nodding, and “Are you kidding me?” the answer was clear.
