Wedding Date on Jul 24, 2021

Makenzie + Joe got married at The Cider Art Gallery in Lawrence, KS on July 24th, 2021. First, they started their day getting ready at the historic Eldridge Hotel in downtown Lawrence. Right outside of the Eldridge the had a first look that every bride dreams about. Joey kept saying how happy he was to be with her and reminding her how beautiful she is. They then had a beautiful ceremony outside at the Cider Gallery. They wrote personal vows to one another that made them and most of their guests cry. Lastly, they had such a fun reception complete with a live band, the Lost Wax. They had amazing toasts, and so much dancing. Makenzie + Joe are amazing people. On our way home that night Mike and I talked about how we can help foster friendship for our future kids. Joe + Mak's family seemed so tight knit, and they felt like not just family, but like true friends to one another. Joe's brother said it best in his speech when he said, "The best thing about family is you can always add more people." We are truly honored we got to be apart of Joey + Mak's wedding, and we pray their marriage FLOURISHES!!
