We are a husband and wife team in love with making wedding films. We're passionate about marriage and believe we have such an honor to tell our couples stories. We've been shooting weddings for almost 5 years! We've shot in 12 different states so far and many in our home state of Mississippi! It's the best job on the planet.

Pioneer Productions is a videography business based in central Mississippi. This husband and wife team is owned by R.D. and Ashley Chisholm who are award-winning filmmakers in not only the wedding world, but also in documentary, commercial, and national broadcasting work. They've had experience in the wedding industry since 2011 and creating wedding films since 2016. 

When filming on wedding days, they like to blend into the background in order to capture as many natural, unstaged moments as possible using a mix between documentary and cinematic video styles. During the editing process, their attention to detail and personalization for each couple is what makes their work stand out. R.D. & Ashley's business values are to make sure each client feels cared for while creating top-notch quality films.
