Wedding Date on Jun 22, 2019

While we had a handful of mutual friends in DC, and later on learned that we had attended some of the same parties over the years, we had never met before our first Bumble date! When Lucy came across Charlie's profile on Bumble she immediately fell for the cuteness of the bulldog puppy he was holding in his profile picture! (Lucy is a major bulldog lover and has a bulldog named Tipsy!) Unfortunately, the bulldog in the picture didn’t belong to Charlie, but Lucy decided to give him a chance anyway :) We hit it off on our first date at Baby Wale in Shaw sharing stories about some mutual friends in DC and our mutual love of golf! Charlie says that his eyes turned into hearts when Lucy asked him who he was rooting for in the PGA tournament that weekend. Two and a half years later here we are... Engaged! Still sharing our love of golf, always exploring new DC restaurants and bars, and enjoying the company of our families and friends
