It was twelve years ago when I first met him. I was only freshman. We first connected through our shared love for the furry feline (in case you don’t know, it’s cats). But even before we connected he immediately noticed (sniffed) that I was using Herbal Essence shampoo when I came in the room. I thought he was odd. After all he admitted with no shame that he used the same shampoo. Then he observed that I love cat because I was wearing pajamas pants with cats on it. On further examination he noticed that I was also wearing a picture of cat on my sweater. He said he loves cats too. The first thought in my head was that he was trying too hard to impress me. We sat next to each other as he proved his feline-fan claim by showing the pictures on his laptop of him with his cats. After finding out he wasn’t lying and we hit it off. All before we introduced our names to each other. That’s the story of how we first met…The Proposal:Matty and I are a Deaf couple who love adventures. We have traveled all over the world and it was naturally for this to happen at Jamaica. My cousin was getting married at Montego Bay, Jamaica and we had arranged a flight from Pittsburgh to meet my family at the island. It was so beautiful. Matty loves remote-control products, he has everything, from cars to a drone! My cousin asked him to bring his drone in order to film the wedding on the island. When we got to the hotel, the room wasn’t ready for us and we decided to meet my family at the Cabana by the pool. He carried the drone in his backpack with him. I did not think of anything oddly about this, my cousins were so excited to see the drone and asked if he could practice a little. They wanted to see what the footage will look like and I went to the restroom. When I got back, matty said that my family had gone back to change clothing for the dinner and I told him that we should do the same. I walked back into the pool area from the beach, I saw a drone coming by to my direction and i saw some sparkles then i realized that the ring was attached! I looked at him and the ring was attached to the necklace that I got him. It was on the drone! The idea of the ring being on the cloud was amazing because that was exactly how I felt! The families were watching behind the shrubs and they had planned this whole thing with Matthew!!! And then the rest is history...The wedding planning- It took us a year and half to plan for the perfect day and it all began with what we wanted first. We wrote down the list that we felt was important (i.e. entertaining the guests, food, and drinks) and the love for the fresh mozzarella. I am from New York, he is from Pennsyvlania, and it was easier for us to get married in the state of New Jersey as a middle ground for both of our families. We narrowed down to ten venues that provides fresh mozzarella within the packages, The Palace was our seventh visit, and we fell in love with the venue. We knew that it was the one, we walked away with in agreement that it was the one, and we booked the date as soon as we could. Originally, we wanted October 13, but the date was booked the day after we left the venue, so we went for a longer weekend with the family/friends- Labor Day Weekend. It was truly a worth of guests' time and we would do it all over again!

Daniella has been working in the video industry for 13 years and loves working in the wedding world. She manages NST's cinematographers and oversees the editing team. "I like shooting short films, music videos and documenting in ways that allow me to tell a story and preserve memories," she says, which pairs perfectly with making beautiful wedding films that will last a lifetime. In her free time, Daniella collects vintage clothes for her resale shop (and to wear, of course!) and dancing to disco.

Lindsay has been creating communities, telling stories and sharing tips online for 14 years. She started her career in tourism and transitioned to weddings, vowing to always use her time and energy to promote things that enrich people's lives. Her favorite part of working at NST is hearing from couples who are relieved that they decided to get a wedding video, even though they didn't initially plan to "The more time that passes since my wedding, the more valuable my wedding video is to my family and me. Our wedding day still ranks up there with one of the best days of our lives and to be able to go back, in a way that is far more powerful, emotional and thrilling than still pictures, has become priceless." On weekends, you can find Lindsay at the beach with her husband and son, mixing cocktails, taking a long jog or in the garden.
