Lauren & Sam celebrated their wedding in the beautiful Woodstock, Vermont where their love story began many years ago. They started their weekend with portraits at Kelly Way Gardens followed by dinner at the Inn and welcome drinks at Au Comptoir.
Lauren’s love for flowers inspired so much of their design and the wedding party & guests understood the assignment. The beautiful blooms by Jasper & Prudence paired with the rattan vessels and hanging tea lights brought a beautiful garden party ambiance under their sailcloth tent. We loved the thoughtful details like hand painted table seating by the groom’s cousin to mark some of their favorite locations, the matchbox favors which was a nod to the couples favorite collection, and the cute and funny napkins that shared some of L&S’s first texts together.
This couple was beyond sweet and you could feel the love between the two of them as they shared a tearful first look and heartfelt vows. Although the rain changed their ceremony plan, we snuck in all their portraits in the beautiful sun filled front lawn of the inn and they danced in the rain as the double rainbow arched over their tent in the evening. It truly was a magical evening.
We feel so grateful we had the chance to capture Lauren & Sam’s wedding weekend - made even more sweet that we had FOUR past, present, and future clients at the wedding! It truly was a family affair and our hearts are so full that we get to work with the kindest families.
