Wedding Date on May 15, 2021

Lauren and Maciej met at a coffee shop in Brooklyn. Their short, flirty conversations over coffee turned into long walks around the neighborhood and eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship. Engaged right before the pandemic hit, Lauren and Maciej opted in for a private elopement with just 10 close friends on a cliff in Ojai, California which is a special travel spot for the two of them. They got ready separately at a beautiful Airbnb, shared a first look in the garden, Lauren walked down an imaginary aisle on a hill overlooking the Ojai mountains, Maciej's best friend officiated their wedding, they shared a first dance in front of their guests, and celebrated a private reception at a local brewery. Lauren brought along her Super 8 camera which gave their film a very vintage and creative look.
