Closing 2020 with a special wedding. This wedding is special, not only because it was my cousin’s wedding, but also because I had the opportunity to witness Lauren and Edward’s love blossom for years! December 5th, 2020 marks the day they placed their love on a pedestal, a day of family, happiness, laughter, tears, and most importantly, LOVE! Like many couples in 2020, they too had to adapt to changing times with the pandemic. However, they made it work! They were blessed with such great weather and such a magical chapel that has you in awe. They also wanted to honor Edward’s side of the Filipino tradition of, coin, candle, veil, and cord. The coins are an emblem of their future children. The candles exemplify all that the bride and groom are from their past experiences and represents each individual family. The veil to wish for good health and protection during their life as husband and wife. And the cord is incorporated as a representation of the couple's bond and union. Lauren and Edward have such a tight bond that is inseparable! They have been together for 6 years and will stick together in life’s up’s and down’s for years to come. Edward married his best friend, and I fully believe your spouse is more than just your spouse, they are your friend, your motivator, your support your lover, and your WHY! It truly is inspirational to be in the presence of such powerful love, a love as Lauren said, ”that makes you wonder if life is even real...” I'm blessed to have witnessed and documented such an important day for Lauren and Edward! A day they marks the beginning of their life as husband and wife. A day you’ll both be able to cherish and show your own children when that day comes! I wish you both endless happiness, laughter, and slow dances in the your living room! And to love one another, today, tomorrow, and every tomorrow’s tomorrow! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Axman!
