Lauren and Conrad met their freshman year at Texas Christian University but it didn’t take long for them to know that they would become inseparable. For Lauren’s 30th birthday, Conrad surprised her with a trip to Paris for New Year’s Eve. Two days into their Paris adventure they had lunch reservations at Le Tallievent on the right bank. A casual stroll from dinner back to the hotel was interrupted with welcome arms as they stopped to take in all that Paris had to offer. The stroll required them to cross over Conrad’s favorite bridge, Pont Alexandre III, to get from the left bank to the right bank. The bridge gives sight to spectacular views from all angles…and naturally provides a great background for a picture. The picture was followed by a quick shoe tie, but it wasn't until the second shoe needed tying that Lauren realized that Conrad was wearing drivers so there were no laces to be tied! It was then that Conrad got on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him. They spent the rest of the night strolling the streets of Paris and celebrating the new journey that waited around the corner. Lauren and Conrad exchanged their vows in front of family and friends in the wine country of Napa, California. Their day was marked by the memories of seeing each other for the first look, their pre-ceremony prayer, the champagne toast with their bridal party, and dancing the night away. The happy couple traveled the world together for their honeymoon while making stops in Dubai, Maldives, Zurich, and Lake Como, Italy. The honeymoon trip included paddle boarding, lounging by the beach, strolling the streets of Zurich, attending the ballet, and Italian boat rides. The trip did not lack fantastic wine, delicious food, and beautiful scenic views.
