Austin and Lauren are MARRIED and our hearts are so full after sharing in the magic of their wedding weekend. Following their "I Do's" in front of Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay, NY, Nazari looked at me and said, "They are so good together it hurts". These two met while attending Penn State University (where Austin years later brought Lauren back to propose!) . Lauren's movie star good looks captivated Austin right away, but it was her intelligence, selflessness and strong willed personality that sealed the deal. He knew the night he met her that she was the one for him. However, due to taking some time off school for some adventuring, Austin was a couple years behind Lauren in school. As a senior about to graduate, the last thing she was looking to do was begin a relationship. But with certainty on his side, Austin spent the coming weeks convincing Lauren to take a leap of faith on him. It wasn't long before she reciprocated the feelings enough to do the last thing she had ever planned to do: graduate college with a boyfriend. They spent the next two years dating long distance and learning a lot about each other. It turns out, they compliment one another PERFECTLY. And they quickly came to adore one another completely. The stark differences in their personalities make them a perfect match, as they challenge and balance one another beautifully. While some of their differences may be more obvious, they have remarkable similarities that make them one of the most exuberant and remarkable couples we have ever known. They are both the kindest, most generous, and selfless souls. And as remarkable as they are apart, they are even better together! Their wedding weekend was like nothing else we have ever experienced. They combined their favorite location: Austin's hometown of Alexandria Bay along the St. Lawrence River, with Lauren's impeccable eye for detail, and the outcome was nothing short of spectacular. They wanted not just to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family, but also invite their guests to experience first hand why they love this place so much. I think everyone came away with more than they bargained for. From a boat cruise Friday night around the islands, to a FIREWORKS show off the river to cap off the night after the wedding, it was a celebration to remember. As the gorgeous newlyweds stood among their closest family and friends watching the picturesque show, someone noted, "This is not normal." Every piece of the day down to the smallest detail was flawless. But even with the castles, boat rides, donut walls, [biodegradable] confetti, and fireworks, nothing came close to the magic that is Austin & Lauren. The way they look at one another, the radical way they love others, and the vows they declared to each other below a picturesque castle on Heart Island are what will no doubt be imprinted on everyone in attendance for a lifetime. They share the kind of love that changes the world and we couldn't be more excited for these two, and all the adventures in store for their life together!
