Wedding Date on May 1, 2021

Laura had a few friends coming over one Saturday night to go out and invited Austin. Prepping for that night, standing in the beer section at Ralphs, they had their first phone call. She called and asked Austin "what kind of beer do you like?" to which he responded "Cold beer?" They still laugh about that phone call to this day! Austin came over that night (a little early honestly lol) and she laid out some charcuterie snacks while they chatted and he raved about a Europe trip he took after graduation earlier that year. Laura's other coworkers/friends showed up and Austin became the 5th wheel. A couple of hours and a couple of bars later, it was basically a done deal for the two of them. He came on STRONG after that night and she was scared at how much she liked him. She basically started ghosting him (which he never lets her forget) and on a day about two weeks later when they had made plans to hang out she had a series of crazy events happened (such as her tires getting randomly slashed - so LA!!) and she just didn't text him back. He drove up from Long Beach and showed up unannounced at her apartment, with a bottle of red wine **full male in a RomCom moment!!** which gave her all the butterflies and calmed every nerve she had about how much we were into each other. Austin says that was the most insane and out of character thing he's ever done but he wouldn't change that he did it. And Laura says neither would she<3
