Sometimes, I can just tell from the first emails of an enquiry that I’ll fit right in on their wedding day, that they would be people I’d be friends with in real life. Laura & Alex were this kind of couple. I mean, anyone that loves Tarentino enough to spot the film scene in one of my Instagram posts are on the right track. So that first moment I saw Laura glowing with beauty when she arrived at Brickhouse, I felt genuine excitement for her. Also, when Alex told me that him and a couple of his friends would be driving convoy to the venue in their vintage cars, we quickly discussed how this could be captured from the skies by my drone - knowing that it would be an important moment to capture for their wedding film. It’s always an honour to capture the weddings of amazing couples. Who aren’t afraid to do their wedding, their way. Who break with tradition and insist on having 30 mins of metal to end the night.
