Held on their family farm and put together by these two, it was definitely a day to remember with the weather being a dream to capture the love these two have for each other and their families.  It was a pleasure to be present on their day and create something special for Lacey & Billy.

Casual weddings are most often a style used in backyard weddings, but we also see it at beach or tented weddings. For the attire, brides may want to wear a tea-length dress or jumpsuit. Grooms should stick to lighter shades, like tan, and toss the jacket.

A casual wedding is playful, fun and great for weddings with a smaller guest list. The ceremony is often outdoors or hosted in a backyard and we love the thought of using benches for the seating to really keeps the formality to a minimum. String lights are a must!

With a more informal celebration, you can really get creative with the menu and play with your décor. There's no need for china or chargers at a casual reception so have fun with the place settings, like a patterned or textured placemat. As for food, comfort food is a no-brainer. Try an elevated version like mini chicken and waffles or shooters of tomato soup with tiny grilled cheese bites on the side.
