From the bride and groom. "We met in the middle. Nick is from Idaho and I'm from California. We moved to Portland around the same time with previous relationships. Those relationships ended around the same time and 6 months later Nick and I met and it was an instant spark. We actually met on tinder and our first date was super magical. We ate dinner alone on the Wild Abandon patio and walked the tillikum crossing. It ended with a simple kiss goodnight on SE 31st and Morrison. We fell inlove listening to music, going on road trips and even just doing the boring day to day life stuff together. Nick knew I was the one as he told me he loved me about a week into our relationship and I felt the same. The first time he took me to Idaho he told his family in front of me that I was going to be the woman he was going to marry....This was only 5 months into our relationship. We truly believe in fate and that everything happens the way it's supposed to and we believe one of the reasons we moved to Portland was to find each other. After experiencing many life experiences together, some good and some bad, our relationship grew stronger and we definitely knew that we were both in it for the long haul and one day decided that it'd be super freakin cool to elope in the swiss alps so thats when the planning started!"
