Within the first minute of the film, you'll hear just how Kristen and Nico met and fell in love. It's a story that almost didn't happen because Kristen's maid-of-honor was going to sign her up to be on the Bachelor, but "little did Kristen know, she was already on her own journey to find love." On July 4th, Kristen and Nico celebrated their wedding at the picturesque Peconic Bay Yacht Club. They exchanged letters, saw each other for the first time as Kristen walked down the aisle, and celebrated throughout the evening with plenty of speeches and dancing. Kristen's grandfather gave a surprise toast that had the entire room both crying and laughing. We chose to open and close their film with his words of wisdom because their heartfelt nature was the overarching theme of the day.
