These two escaped the hurricane in North Carolina in time to make it to Lake Louise for their elopement. We LOVED getting to know these two. They decided to elope and start the morning early, with a morning shoot at Peyto Lake with Kim Payant, their photographer. This is one of the most iconic lakes in the Banff area. Then they opted for an early evening lake side ceremony, with just the two of them. They exchanged touching vows, and lived in the moment. Before dinner we treated the two of them of a Canadian specialty, poutine. This is basically fries, cheese curds and gravy. It was their first international trip, so we just HAD to treat them to something oh-so Canadian.
