Wedding Date on Jun 17, 2017

From The Bride: Stephen and I fell in love when we were 17 years old. We were high school sweethearts, and dated long distance (1,000 miles apart) during our freshman year of college. After that year Stephen moved to Virginia and started going to the same college as me. After years of dreaming about our future together, Stephen popped the question during July of 2016. I said yes, of course, and we started planning our wedding! I (Kourtney) planned this wedding with my mom, and our wedding planner. I had been saving a Pinterest board full of wedding ideas since we started dating, so I pretty much already knew what I wanted our day to look like. I wanted the day to be classy, timeless and elegant with modern vintage and romantic touches. I chose every flower by hand with my wedding planner, and I especially loved choosing my bridesmaid's vintage inspired outfits, paired with soft blue heels that matched the blue in our wedding invitations. We got married in the church that we went to when we met in high school, and sealed our wedding vows with a kiss a few feet away from the place that we first kissed after a friday night football game in high school. Our wedding reception was at the Cotton Mill in McKinney, which was very sentimental to us as a couple. Henry Martens from Henry Weddings (The Brothers Martens) was the first wedding vendor that we booked after watching several of his amazing wedding videos. His videos were more than wedding day recaps - they were love stories edited to look like award winning movies. His skill and style is beyond anything we have ever seen before. We loved how intimate and artistic the videos were, and since receiving our own wedding video, we have not been able to stop watching it. We fall in love with it every time we watch it, and hope that those who see it enjoy watching it as well.
