Wedding Date on May 4, 2019

Adam's Answer: -Well our first official date was pretty aggressive I would say. I invited Kirsten on a family vacation to Newport Beach after not seeing her for like 3 years. She flew down from norcal and I literally had my entire immediate family there as well as my brothers girlfriends, my aunts uncles and cousins from out of state. I’m sure it was really overwhelming for her, I personally was very comfortable haha! But she was a total trooper and everyone including myself loved her from the beginning. She fit right in with the family and we all had a blast. Her fearlessness is something I really admire about her, she is willing to jump right in and see what happens. If she hadn’t, I don’t know if we would be here today. Kirsten's Answer: Adam had invited me to join him and his family on their vacation to Newport Beach. We had reconnected a few months early and were talking pretty frequently. While I was nervous to go see him (it had been 3 years!), it was a now or never decision. We had always had something more between us and this was the opportunity to give it a shot. There was no doubt in my mind, I had to go see! While a family vacation is not your typical first date, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The Melker family was warm and welcoming. Thankfully I had known Kerry and Guy from college and had even hung out with his brother, Trevor, before. We had the best time. Little did I know that there would be many more weekends like that one in our future. And those people have not only become my family, but some of my favorite people.
