Wedding Date on Jun 30, 2018

Together, we planned a weekend getaway with a few friends (little did I know he was planning the whole proposal with those friends and a bunch of other friends who would surprise me by showing up after he proposed!). While we drove up to Las Vegas, checked in to our hotel room, and went to dinner on the Strip, my maid of honor and two of Matt's groomsmen were setting up a balcony suite at the Cosmopolitan with all our favorite photos, rose petals, candles, music and more for Matt's proposal moment. After dinner, he walked me back towards the hotel saying that our other friends were here and asked us to come to their room. When I opened the door to "their room" (the proposal suite), I went from being confused to surprised to tearing up. We walked through a rose petal candlelit path with our favorite photos strung along each side of the wall, eventually leading out to the patio overlooking the strip where I said, "Yes!"
