One of the most well known military wedding traditions is the Arch of Sabers (or Swords if referring to a Navy or Marine Corps member). If either partner, or both, are commissioned officers, they can have a ceremony exit beneath an archway of sabers held by other military members. Noncommissioned officers and enlisted personnel may instead go with the variation called the Arch of Rifles.
