Sometimes a love story begins at a bus stop on a college campus. And then that love story leads to a wedding at the Franklin Plaza in Troy, near Albany NY. That's the love story of Kayla and Loren.
After several years of dating, living through and getting engaged in the middle of a pandemic, Kayla and Loren had a big, beautiful wedding near the town where their love story started, in Albany New York. They had a huge wedding party (maybe the biggest I've seen?!) and it was so fun to see so many of their friends and family gather to celebrate the start of their marriage. Kayla and Loren got ready at the Best Western across the street from their reception venue, the Franklin Plaza. There, I got to meet many vendors that made up their amazing team for their wedding. Make sure you check out all their vendors listed below, but I will mention that I loved working with Kelly from The Main Event by Kelly Jeanmaire. She and her team kept the day running smoothly and thankfully showed us the best spots in Albany for photo and video since both me and the photographer were not local to the area!
They had their wedding ceremony at St. Pius X Church where I absolutely adored Loren's reaction to Kayla walking down the aisle! One of my favorites for sure! After the ceremony we headed to downtown Albany to take lots of beautiful photos and video of the bride, groom, and their massive wedding party. Who knew we could find a deserted street with almost no cars on it in the middle of Albany?!
Then on to their gorgeous reception at The Franklin Plaza. They started off with some GREAT speeches (the father of bride speech will forever be one of my favorites!!) and then Kayla, Loren, and their wedding party BROUGHT THE ENERGY! That dance floor was sooo packed! It was such a fun and energetic way to end a great wedding day! Kayla and Loren thank you for having me capture your amazing day - it was so beautiful and there were so many precious moments that I will cherish!!
