From Katlyn, the bride: We met at a University of Michigan tailgate and hit it off right away! Go Blue! Jake proposed at our favorite bench in the Botanical Gardens. Both sets of our parents were there but Katlyn just thought they were all going on a normal hike. When Jake and Katlyn got to the bench, he asked her to sit down and rest for a minute. Then he leaned over and grabbed the ring box out of a hole he had dug he day before! He got down on one knee and proposed! Katlyn was completely surprised!!
