Wedding Date on Aug 6, 2016

Katie and Vaughn decided on the beautiful backdrop of the Sierra Nevada for their fun, intimate and romantic wedding. 6,795' above sea level, the Zephyr Lodge provided incredible views from every angle. Being a destination wedding for their friends and family, Katie and Vaughn's guests each made their way up the ceremony site via chair lift. Beautifully backlit by the sun, the ceremony had all the feels as Katie and Vaughn shared their ''I do's". Following the ceremony, Katie and Vaughn's reception inside the Zephyr Lodge was one to impress. Rows of farm tables each detailed out from the planter-box center pieces to the elegant lace table runners, lined the reception room as the setting sun came through the lodge's giant wall of windows. Wood beams, rustic chandeliers and a light breeze flowing through the venue all meshed together giving the day a natural and earthy feel. A couple of heartfelt toasts by Katie's father and sister lead into a night full of dancing, laughing and celebrating. The sun slowly set behind the mountains providing a colorful array of reds, oranges, pinks and purples- a beautiful way to cap off their perfect wedding. Congrats, Katie and Vaughn!!
