Wedding Date on Sep 16, 2020

Katie contacted us from across the country with the idea of a surprise proposal to her girlfriend (now fiance!) McKayla. Obviously we were immediately on board! We spent months planning out the perfect time and location and figuring out how we couple keep everything a surprise but still capture the moments on video and photo. After several postponements due to Covid and a last minute location change due to wildfires, we ended up on the Middle Fork trail in North Bend. We, along with the photographer, pretended to be forest service workers and asked the couple if we could get a short interview on video of them discussing how much they enjoy hiking. Once the camera was rolling, Katie got down on one knee and popped the question. McKayla - in total shock - first said 'you beat me to it!' But then she of course said, yes!'
