Wedding Date on Nov 16, 2019

Katie and Hayes met while they were both stationed at Kings Bay, GA. The moment Katie saw Hayes, she knew he was the one and that she'd spend the rest of her life with him. Katie describes that moment as one so strong she never felt before. They didn’t talk much that night, but Hayes kept staring at her! The next day Katie connected with him on social media and that was the start of their relationship. Fast forward, they both had just moved to California and were living with some friends while Katie was trying to figure out where she was going to be living. It was Halloween night and Hayes told her that he would be deploying in the next year which brought on the tears. She went to wipe her tears and Hayes, sitting on the carpet next to her said, “I know you’re the one and I love you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life... will you marry me?” Katie turned and started crying again and said YES, of course! She describes it as a perfect moment.
