Wedding Date on Jun 5, 2021

From the bride: We got married at the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado. We were joined by 130 guests which consisted of our core family and closest/best friends. Prior to covid, we envisioned a larger wedding (200-250 guests) however due to local restrictions we were forced to keeping it small. We chose Aspen for several reasons but mainly because it’s a place that has lots of sentimental memories for us as individuals and as a couple. We both grew up skiing Aspen Mountain and have deep family ties to the local community. Christopher and I both hit the slopes at age 3 and to this day skiing continues to be one of our greatest passions as a couple. Christopher spent many summers and winters in Aspen with his family and as a young adult he lived and worked there for 5 years. My parents started going to Aspen when they were 16 and 19 years old – they used to road trip from Milwaukee to Colorado in their 1971 Chevy Blazer. They’ve spent the last 15 years living in Vail, a short drive from Aspen which makes going home a real joy for us. Our goal has always been to have a second home in Aspen so we can create the same memories we had as kids with our own family someday.
