Kate and Ryan's love story started like a classic Hallmark Christmas movie! It all started in college at UW-Stevens Point when Kate and Ryan met on a cold December night downtown at a pizza place called Polito's Pizza. As they were waiting in line, Kate noticed a guy wearing an ugly Christmas sweater and snowmen overalls (it was ugly Christmas sweater night). As she looked closer, she noticed that he was wearing the same Christmas sweater that her mom had growing up. Kate tapped him on the shoulder and exclaimed "My mom has that sweater!". Turns out the sweater was his mom's as well! Over the next few weeks Kate and Ryan bonded over their mother's mutual Christmas sweaters, and after a Facebook friend request, a few messages, and exchanging their cell phone numbers, they have been talking nonstop. Over the course of their relationship, they made a lot of lasting memories. A few of their favorite memories include; getting their Chocolate Lab named, Red, moving to Menomonie, buying their dream home during a global pandemic, and getting married!
