From the couple "Chad was graduating from business school so we planned a two week trip to Thailand to celebrate. A few days before before we left, Chad ended up stuck in India and was having trouble getting back home due to historic floods. Rather than just meeting me in Thailand, he flew half way around the world to pick up the ring that he had hidden in his dresser drawer only to hop on another twenty hour flight the next morning. After a few days in Bangkok, we traveled to Chiang Mai. Chad had told me about a cooking class that a colleague had taken with his girlfriend and I was excited to hear he had booked us a lesson for the next day. The driver picked us up and drove us to an organic farm outside of the city. Upon arrival, I headed to the bathroom to clean up while we waited for the other attendees. I came outside to an oddly nervous Chad gulping down water at one of the farm tables. I asked where our fellow chefs were and he said they were late but he wanted to talk to me first. I still had no idea what was going on as he dropped to one knee. After celebrating with some champagne and calling our families (at 4am their time!), we enjoyed a private tour of the farm, picked our own ingredients and prepared a delicious, traditional Thai meal. It was perfect. "
