Wedding Date on Jan 11, 2019

In astronomy, it’s called a syzygy; when celestial bodies in a gravitational system perfectly line up to create magic. You might know it as ‘when the stars align’. It’s pure science these phenomenons do occasionally occur, and we think we might’ve witnessed one at the wedding of Kate + Andy. We have a sneaking suspicion the stars aligned long before we arrived with our cameras, however. Kate + Andy were quite obviously one of those couples that were simply meant to find each other — despite the rumours a skinny red head with a lisp couldn’t get a girl like Kate without playing professional AFL. On the day, it happened again. As one of their loving family members put it: “What a glorious day, what a spectacular location, what a perfect couple.” Everything was perfection. We were also lucky enough to work with some of the best in the business — photographer Corey Wright and celebrant Damon Hughes — to create a day that won’t be forgotten in a hurry, by anyone in attendance. Kate’s mum and dad might’ve lost out on their dream trip to Hawaii in the process of all this, but looking back at the video, we think they’ll agree it was worth it.
