Sunday December 9th of 2018 was forecasted to be one of the worst snow storms the Southeast has seen thus far!!! No doubt, No one was looking forward to such weather, especially Kaitlin and Chris who have long time planned to get married on that exact day at The Farm At Glen Haven in Clifton Forge Virginia. Few days before the wedding day, many was wondering… will the road be really dangerous ? should the wedding be postponed? what if no one shows up? … Well Kaitlin and Chris had their minds and hearts made up: The guests may stay home for their safety, the vendors may cancel, but as long as their parents, their witnesses, and the officiant are there, they would tie the knot on that day and they surely did! During the pre-ceremony filming, Chris had asked me to bring Kaitlin a handkerchief which belonged to his grandfather, on it was written a sweet letter to his bride Kaitlin who could not hold back her tears as she read his touching words. After the ceremony, they had few drinks, and took photos in the snow which was breathtaking. I’m happy that I made it through the bad weather to capture this cherished moment for this loving couple. May you keep that same love and never allow anything to keep you away from each other!
