Wedding Date on Oct 12, 2019

Juliet was in law school in Lubbock, Texas while Jonathan was in San Antonio studying architecture. After seven years of dating and falling in love with each other long distance, the two joined their families, their cultures, and their lives together as one. The first look was an incredibly beautiful and emotional moment for the couple. Having a moment alone with one another was important for the two before they read their intimate vows in front of their friends and family. Juliet and Jonathan wanted to include traditions from their Persian, Mexican, and European cultures throughout the wedding day. The ceremony included Persian traditions such as the feeding of honey, the rubbing of sugar cones above the couple's head, and a beautiful Sofreh Aghd as the centerpiece of the ceremony design. The reception also incorporated a traditional mariachi band and Mexican cookies served alongside the cake. The Nasher Sculpture Garden provided the perfect backdrop to entertain guests with plenty of space to spread out for cocktail hour, dinner, and of course, lots of dancing.
