A stylish spring wedding in one of Ireland’s most exclusive private estates. Everything about this wedding was special. First and foremost, the couple. Joy and Michael are such fabulous human beings – kind, fun-loving, and taking joy out of every moment of life! It was such a pleasure to capture the couple’s special day on film, both the big important wedding day events but equally all the little moments of them just enjoying the day with their families and friends.
The wedding ceremony was very special. It took place in a beautiful nearby church, and the couple had the touching idea to include both of their parents' first dance songs in the ceremony readings - such a simple but meaningful gesture.
Gloster House, where the rest of the wedding took place, is a truly unique setting and one of Ireland’s most beautiful and luxurious wedding venues. Nestling at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains, it is an old Georgian house steeped in history, a mix of old-fashioned decor with a modern twist. The whole venue is breathtaking, surrounded by extensive gardens, woodland, and lakes,
Joy and Michael were married in March 2022. At the height of spring, the sun was shining providing the perfect opportunity for much of the day to be spent outdoors. The couple and guests took full advantage, enjoying the stylish brass band pop who played all the well-known songs during the drinks reception to get the day going - and providing great opportunities to capture all the fun on camera!
The rest of the evening took place in the newly renovated chapel where the dinner reception and party were held. The couple and guests subsequently danced the night away to a fabulous band playing great music.
It was a wonderful day and an amazing wedding celebration, and Sunset Films- wedding Cinematography were so delighted to capture it all on camera and craft Joy and Michael's wedding film into a timeless keepsake they will treasure forever.
