Back in late October, we had the pleasure of working with the Bakery Building in Hattiesburg, MS for two weekends in a row. Right across the street from the train station, it has become one of the most popular venues for weddings in the city, and understandably so! The vintage industrial character of this building is unmatched with its original hardwood floors, metal beams on the ceiling, and exposed brick walls. According to their website: "Originally built in 1927, The Bakery Building served as a full-scale bakery for many years. Over time and through changes in ownership (and several hurricanes), the building fell into disrepair. In 2003 an ambitious project began to restore the building, expose the inherent beauty and character of the space, and repurpose it for life today." Jordan & PJ discovered our work just one month before their wedding day and decided they had to book us after watching our videos! We are so excited that they did- their wedding film is such a sweet one. Jordan's dad told us he even cried watching some of our previous films. The letters they read to one another during their First Look were so heartfelt and authentic. Probably the most emotional part of the day was the Father-Daughter First Look. The reaction of Jordan's dad seeing her as a bride for the first time was absolutely priceless. We also loved how fun their Father/ Daughter and Mother/Son dances were at the reception. Jordan and her dad danced to "You've Got a Friend in Me" from the Disney movie, Toy Story (you can see in the video that before the dance, her dad is wearing a Woody cowboy hat.) We loved working with their families and team of vendors on this beautiful wedding day in Hattiesburg!
