Gorgeous brides Jody and Roxy tied the knot in Aldby Park - a country estate near York in Yorkshire - in a vibrant, fun and sunkissed summer marquee wedding. When the couple first met, they quickly found a share loved of dancing – from learning salsa on their third date, attending festivals or playing a ‘dance like Michael Jackson’ Wii computer game. And, dancing the night away was a key theme at their wedding, with an amazing evening of celebrations topped by their choreographed first dance. To fulfil the couple's mission of 'spreading the glitter', guests were then given a glittery 'magic bean' in an organza bag which they had to trade for a hat /wig/prop, face paint and biodegradable face glitter via a ‘magic door’ - a beautiful flower arch lit with candles and a door with fairy lights and drapes. Earlier in the day, Jody and Roxy swapped delightful ‘love boxes’ to share and enjoy on their 10th Wedding Anniversary – enclosed with personal notes to each other, their vows and their favourite tipple. Keys were given to friends for safekeeping. The venue was a fitting place to tie the knot for a couple who share a passion for the outdoors. Aldby Park is a country estate in the village of Buttercrambe near York in North Yorkshire with stunning views, glorious landscaped grounds, open space and maze-like bushes.
