These two high school sweethearts started their love story in grade school. Jimmie & Jacob met when Jacob was an 8th grader and Jimmie was a 7th grader. Jimmie's friend, Payton, lived down the street from Jimmie and they decided to chalk Jacob's driveway and wrote their numbers on his driveway. Little did they know that would be the beginning of an incredible story. They grew up together and learned so much from each other. Jimmie & Jacob always made sure to keep God and family a priority. They both attend college at SWOSU in Weatherford. Jacob was going up to college a few days early and had some of their mutual friends help him out with a special surprise for Jimmie. He made a video with a voice-over and pictures from the past 5 years. They set it all up in a park in Weatherford and got her out to the park by having her friends tell her that they were going to take "roommate" pictures. When they arrived she found the table with the laptop and video with a sign that said "press play." It took her a minute to even start the video. At the end of the video, it told her to turn around and there was Jacob on one knee! And of course, she #CouldntCopeWithoutHim. Jacob & Jimmie chose Quartz Mountain as their wedding venue because they would spend so much time together on the lake. It was a special place for them and it was the perfect place to say I do in front of their family and friends.
