Jillian and Carl met in October 2010 through mutual friends when they were in high school. They hung out a few times over a few weeks and officially started dating on October 16, 2010. They experienced three proms together, colleges in Boston, and living in Beacon Hill on the same street. Finally right after Christmas in December of 2016, Jillian’s family (and Carl) went to Scotland to visit her dad’s family. During the trip, on January 3rd, Carl proposed on the top of Arthur’s Seat, which is a small mountain/hill looking over the city of Edinburgh.
