Wedding Date on Oct 4, 2020

A sweet Intimate wedding at Wild Dunes. Jill and Herb are such Lovebirds! But what Does ‘Lovebird’ Mean?🐦💜💙 This expression comes from nine species of African parrots that are called lovebirds. Lovebird mates are often considered particularly loving towards each other and like to stay close together ( Like Jill and Herb🥰). I wanted to share my experience with the color grading of this video. One thing about me is that I LOVE coloring books! This is partly why I studied Science and techniques of color, it wasn't just about how to do color grading, but it’s also about understanding the psychological effect that color has on our perception. It’s about how to communicate emotions through colors, which is why all of my videos look different. I want to make a color pallet that works with the personality of the couple and the vibe of the day. In the case of the wedding of Jill and Herb, I worked a big part of the video with pastel colors with saturated whites. I want to tell you with the color that they are a very sweet, chill and peaceful couple, and I wanted it to go with the style of the music they chose, romantic and soft. I only spent a few hours with them, but enough to see how great a team they are, and you can see this so quick because they are so connected to each other. That day they wanted to be totally immersed in their wedding day with their friends and family, but as a good lovebirds they were together the whole time. The photographer Jolie and I understood that, and we just did a quick romantic shoot. The rest of the day is what you see here, a day for sharing with their loved ones, a love celebration! People say that they become one that day, but I have the feeling they were already one...congratulations guys! It was lovely working with you on this peaceful and sweet day!
