Wedding Date on Nov 17, 2018

J + J met through a dear friend, Jake, at Slippery Rock University. Jessie and Jake were beginning their sophomore year, and Justin was a freshman at the time. Justin lived across the hall from Jake in the dorms at The Rock. We had all come back from summer break, and we had all planned to meet up and catch up. Jake was so kind to invite Justin to come along. (Seriously, thank goodness for Jake...) Everyone came over to Jessie's apartment, and it's been history ever since! As for the EPIC proposal... J+J were vacationing in Las Vegas with friends, and while there Justin popped the question after a surprise HELICOPTER RIDE into the Grand Canyon!!! After a 45 minute breathtaking ride into the canyon, the helicopter landed for a light breakfast. We snapped pictures and simply took in the incredible beauty of the canyon. As we were about to board the helicopter to head back to the airport, Jessie asked Pierre, our pilot, to snap a picture of J+J with the stunning canyon as the backdrop. Jessie gave her phone to Pierre and when she turned around, Justin had a black box in his hand, and he was down on one knee. Jessie exploded into tears, and happy cried the whole way back to the airport. The best part about the story is that Jessie didn't even say yes! Justin was pretty sure he knew her answer though. :)
