Some of the best times you can have being a wedding filmmaker, are when you're able to film those near and dear to you. Jessica and Selywn are some of our best friends inside and outside the wedding industry. They're some of the purest, most genuine and thoughtful individuals we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. When Selwyn was ready to pop the question to Jessica, it took him nearly a full day of trying, while exploring Paris alongside Jessica. Not because he was nervous or anything like that, but simply because every time he turned to Jessica and said he had to ask her something, she'd just return with a goofy joke, and he just couldn't stop laughing. It took hours before he was finally able to find a place where they could be alone, to ask her the question that would bind them together for the rest of their lives. When they asked us to film their moody bohemian-styled wedding, we were obviously a little more than thrilled. The pairing of the lush greenery alongside the warm, earthy tones of autumn, gave the perfect setting for these two to pledge their hearts to each other. Their day was absolutely magical, and full of a lot of tears being shed across us, Jessica, and Selwyn, as they read their vows before their closest family and friends. There wasn't a single dry eye during the ceremony. The sheer amount of love and passion that radiates off of these two is the kind of stuff that you hear about in cliché radio love songs, that you couldn't believe possibly exists. It's raw. It's real. This is why we create wedding films, and this is what drives us forward as filmmakers. Jessica and Selwyn's passion for each other is unlike any I've ever seen, and we're truly blessed to have been asked to be a part of such a perfect day, for two wonderful people.
