Wedding Date on Jul 8, 2019

"You are my life" // Private Home Wedding in the peak District // Jenny & James... A little thank you from Victoria: It’s not hard to see how very much in love and committed to each other James & Jenny are... their heartfelt vows even got me tearing up! (Although that’s the norm as I’m a hopeless romantic and often cry at my couples weddings anyway haha). Huge thanks to them for just being an absolute dream and truly themselves on their stunning day. And what a privilege it has been to capture this day and to be a part of Joy's team in making Jenny's vision for her wedding day come true...never more true is the saying "teamwork makes the dreamwork". About the couple: Set at James’ family home in the Peak District (it was never going to be anywhere else according to Jenny)... these two had the most wonderful, relaxed wedding to celebrate their lives together. These Northern sweethearts met at university and after sticking together throughout the 3 years of university, they eventually moved to work in London building their home and careers...very successfully. It was during a holiday with friends that James decided to propose to Jenny - James had decided to take her to a gorgeous spot by a lake, picnic ready, ring in hand...only to discover the lake had actually dried up! A few sangria's later, for dutch courage of course, James finally found the perfect spot and moment to surprise a very shocked Jenny. I believe there was plenty more sangria's that evening with all their friends - much like on their wedding day! Being surrounded by their nearest and dearest was clearly at the forefront of both their minds when deciding on their wedding and this was made even more obvious by deciding to get married back up North at James' stunning family home; with the most ideal views on a glorious day! Cue lots of outdoor flora, tipi's, romantic personal vows and plenty of cocktails...with 2 fantastic bands...it was a day to celebrate what they have both been through so far and their exciting lives ahead of them.
