Wedding Date on May 5, 2019

We met in March 2016 at a sports bar in Philadelphia called Fox & the Hound. We were both in graduate school at the time (different schools, so we had never crossed paths before) and were watching the Villanova basketball game. I noticed him looking at me from across the bar and he eventually made his way over to me to chat. He got my number and we went on our first date two days later. His job was taking him to Augusta, GA in June (and I knew that since the night I met him, so I wasn’t convinced anything would become of us), but I decided on the day that he moved down to apply to a job there too. ONE job opening in Augusta for my field and I got it! So, three months after meeting Cody, I moved down to Georgia to be with him. (Which was ludicrous). But, on May 3, 2018, Cody asked me to marry him while we were out on the Savannah River. A year and a day later we will officially tie the knot!
