Wedding Date on Jan 1, 2019

We are blessed to travel the world to capture and tell couple's story of their special day, of their covenant and celebration. This time we traveled more inland to the small town of Prince Alfred, just beyond Ceres. There is so much to say about the day, from the reception venue- which used to be a storage barn- now transformed as a spectacular venue for weddings. The rustic elements in the venue- as well as the beautiful mountain landscapes and farm scenery that surrounds it created the ideal space for this story. Jene booked Mon Desire guesthouse for her get ready. Special thanks to the guesthouse for how well they treated all their service providers- felt like we were getting married almost. The beautiful vintage styled guesthouse provided lots of space to film in and for the get ready part of the wedding. At the wedding I saw a welcome face, a mentor/ friend- Pieter Roeloffse, who is now residing in the area. He led the service with sincerity and brought together the various rituals and reminders of a wedding day with a special message of love. After the bridal party photos Jene and Brandon jumped into a bakkie and we drove up to the hillside to film their couple shots- as newly weds. Congratulations on a wonderful celebration! We wish you years and years of continued happiness together.
