Jem + Taku AKA Cloudherd Film Co. AKA two of the best wedding filmmakers in Australia No pressure right?! The night before the wedding Taku's parents cooked up a family meal that we were lucky enough to share in. We got to then capture Jem & Taku with their family, just hanging out & doing the regular-life things and little nightly rituals that are often overlooked and thrown in the category of 'just another day'. But in our opinion these are the moments most worth documenting, and they're every bit as important as the wedding itself. It's no surprise that Jem + Taku wanted this kind of content captured - after having filmed so many weddings over the years they like us start to understand that family dinners and reading books with your kids before bed are the moments you want to remember when it's all said and done. Weddings arn't just one day, they're a life time of stories that have lead to that day, so to take a peak behind the curtain of where their story began really meant the world to us. So here's to the Kjelgaards and their hilarious mid-ceremony 'business calls', risqué serenades, off the cuff speeches and choreographed dance-stories. We're so damn happy we got to know you both and spend some time with the cheeky Aki & Kaito, and we can't even describe how insanely chuffed we are to have filmed your wedding!
