Nico had a love for the Philippines since he was in high school on a missions trip.  After high school, he moved to the Philippines for seminary and serving the local villages.  One day he was at a friend's wedding, saw Jem (one of the bridesmaids) on the stage, and it was love at first sight! Jem looked back at him and felt like God was pointing out her future husband to her.  So once their friendship started, there was no turning back! They got engaged and married on the same beautiful resort beach in the Philippines.  And ever since, they've continued to serve the people of the Philippines together with God's love.
