Wedding Date on May 19, 2018

Band Camp August 2012. Jeanna was a sophomore in college and in charge of making new members feel welcome when she ran into a stubborn freshman cross country runner who (just like her) could not read music. She was still sizing him up when one day leaving the cafeteria she saw him offer one of his headphones to another member of the drum line. She didn't know the song and subsequently dropped the ear bud. Jeanna quickly snatched it up and here and Scott jammed out to Toto's "hold the Line" all the way back to band room. It was here that their friendship began. Over the next year they bonded over study sessions, band rehearsals, classes, mutual friends, Christmas cookie baking, and social events until going a day without talking to each other was an oddity. Scott was immediately hooked, but it took Jeanna several years before she finally realized that she didn't look at Scott like she looked at her other friends - and realized that he looked at her the same way! Jeanna and Scott proceeded to have the most beautiful DIY wedding at fontainebleau state park where they said their "I Do's" under the oaks just before getting to witness an epic sunset over lake pontchartrain.
