Jamie Levine and Koby Wexler’s love story began in the heart of the pandemic, in February 2021, when they connected on Hinge while living in the same downtown Delray Beach building. Their first meeting occurred after Jamie hosted a Galentine’s dinner, featuring a cake from Koby’s family bakery. Eager to share leftover cake, Jamie invited Koby to the terrace, bringing along her favorite rosé and dining essentials, which impressed him. Their romance blossomed with a dinner Koby prepared, complete with purple tulips. Both soon became dog parents, adopting their pups, Ruby and Roux, with surprisingly similar names. Ruby, a playful Maltipoo, and Roux, a gentle Goldendoodle, quickly became inseparable companions, charming everyone they met. Jamie and Koby wanted their wedding day captured in all its joy, hoping to relive those beautiful moments in the years to come. The proposal took place during a trip to Riviera Maya on July 5th, when Koby arranged for a passerby to take their photo just before he got down on one knee, surprising Jamie with a heartfelt proposal. Outside of wedding planning, Jamie works as a clinical psychologist, while Koby is a restaurateur with three local Delray Beach restaurants. They enjoy spending time with their dogs, family, and friends, frequently going to the beach and trying new restaurants. They chose The Boca Raton for their wedding, a cherished place for Jamie and her family, where they often enjoyed staycations together. Their vision for the day includes a chic and romantic atmosphere, featuring white, champagne, and blush tones, with a strapless lace gown for Jamie. They want their guests to feel the love and have fun on the dance floor all night. After the wedding, they plan a mini-moon in The Keys and a honeymoon in Europe later in the year. Looking ahead ten years, they envision a happy life in South Florida filled with children and dogs, surrounded by love and laughter.
