Theirs was a chance encounter at a Sauti Sol concert (Cynthia's favorite band) in the summer of 2015. As fate would have it, they kept on bumping into each other at various events around town but lost touch when Cynthia moved away for grad school. They reconnected at James' best friend's wedding where he was the best man. Their first date was on July 14th, 2016 & they've been inseparable since.
