"My soul knew you then, I've found you once again, and I will love you to no end." Jaime Silva knew he was going to marry Adrianna the second she serendipitously dropped into his CrossFit gym. Something about his radiant smile and the way he spoke with such genuine authenticity left her enchanted to say the least; it was as if she had known him for a lifetime. One hug on their first date was enough for him to know he longed to hold her for eternity and then some. That saying "You know when you know" finally made sense not only to them but everyone who was inspired but their innocent, unwavering and undeniable, head over heels love for each other. 10 months later, they were married at the Seattle Courthouse. "Choosing to start our marriage and celebrate with loved ones when we were ready was the best decision we ever made. No one should dictate the timing of the most important day of your life or how you choose to share it with others. Be unique, break tradition and enjoy your special day without regret" Adrianna explains with a smile. The Silva's marriage celebration took place around their 2-year anniversary at The Foundry in Seattle, WA. Their private "first look" took place on a tranquil dock and they cruised around in a 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II. They crafted a special ceremony where they surprised guests with a film of their love story. They opted out of a wedding party and invited their parents to walk down the aisle followed by a romantic poem from Adrianna's grandfather written to his bride of 50 years shortly before passing. As a sign of their ongoing commitment to each other, they exchanged the Aras (a cultural tradition) and closed their ceremony with the personal vows they saved to share with friends and family. There wasn't a dry eye in the room as Jaime vowed to make Adrianna smile every day for the rest of her life and as he reached out to hold her hand while she surprised him and sang "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mack. They were re-announced as Mr. & Mrs. Silva as they were showered with petals and danced down the aisle to "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch." The rest of the evening, guests enjoyed music from a romantic trio, a cocktail tree display, their "memory lane" timeline of photographs, special tributes from friends & family, an epic choreographed Daddy Daughter dance and of course a piece of their first date: Molly Moon Ice Cream…because no good first date started with a salad. They shared a giant tearing donut instead of cake and their favorite kettle corn for favors which said, "Thanks for making our party poppin!" They twirled through their sparkler sendoff and gushed as they had successfully shared their love story and what they call #thesilvalinings in their unique, uplifting and adventurous way.
